Former “red and white” Jose Sa will remain in England for the next four years, with Wolves announcing the extension of their partnership with the Portuguese goalkeeper.
Wolves have found their guardian angel under the goalposts and they are not going to part with him! The reason is of course for Jose Sa, who landed in Wolverhampton from Olympiakos in the summer of 2021 for 8 million euros and since then he has managed not only to adapt to the world of the Premier League but also to be a valuable cog for the Wolves.
Thus, Wolves and Sa have come to terms and, as the club announced, they will continue together until 2027, with the Portuguese signing a four-year contract extension with an option for a further year.
“It is something that he has earned, he has been very important for us, a leader on and off the field, who is constantly improving,” said the club’s technical director after the announcement of the renewal.
